Remember the crack of the bat, the dirt on your cleats, and the feeling of being part of a team? That doesn’t have to stay in the past.
Welcome to the new Women’s Fastpitch Softball League, an extension of the Bantam/Ladies division with CRRA-TBGSA, created by women, for women, right here at the Current River Community Centre, Dick Waddington Park.
This league is for women 18 and up who want to reconnect with the sport they grew up loving or discover it for the very first time. Whether you were a longtime player or haven’t picked up a glove in years, you belong here.
Our mission is simple: To give women the opportunity to keep playing softball into adult life, to stay active for life, and to be part of something fun, empowering, and supportive.
This is your chance to get back on the field, not just to play, but to rediscover your strength, confidence, and love of the game. Softball doesn’t have an age limit, and neither does passion.
Join us.
Although we’re still working through the details of the league, here’s what we can share with you:
Here’s how the teams will work:
Need a little practice? Come out and reconnect with your skills!
We’ve scheduled a 2-hour softball clinic on May 30, June 13, and June 27. We’re looking into pitching clinics as well.
