We love weddings! Book your pre-wedding day event and your wedding day with Current River Community Centre. Our Community Centre seats up to 200 guests with dance floor.

Policy

Any events the renter must purchase additional insurance for that event and have copy for centre. Event Insurance can be purchased at your insurance company or Duuo or Pal insurance online.

COPY MUST BE PRESENTED A WEEK IN ADVANCE OF THE EVENT. This includes decorators, DJ’s,Photo Booth Etc.

Facility Rentals

We offer 2 rooms for rental for any occasion:

  • Cedar Star Room
  • Meeting Room (accommodates up to 25 people)

 

We provide full catering services for weddings, luncheons, teas, showers, etc.

We also offer daytime and evening space open for classes, programs, and meetings.

Rates

  • $300.00 main hall rental fee for up to 100 guests. For over 100 guests, the rental fee is waived
  • $175 fee per bartender. For over 100 guests, a minimum of 2 bartenders are required
  • Corkage of $3.00 per person. Everything required to pour and mix a drink. One time charge
  • Classic white tablecloths are provided for $3.00 per table
  • 100% of all banquet fees must be paid 2 weeks prior to event
  • $300 Damage deposit required – if no damages incurred, the deposit will be applied to final invoice
  • You can book the day before wedding for decorating @ a cost of $200.00 from 9 am to 3 pm
  • 10% gratuity on final invoice (food and beverages)
  • SOCAN Fee (if music will be played) $60 for up to 100 guests, $85.00 for more than 100 guests
  • Insurance is required by all renters, including decorators and other contractors. Event insurance can be purchased at any insurance broker or online. COPY MUST BE PRESENTED A WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT TAKES PLACE.

  • Hall rental fee $300.00 – to be paid 1 week prior to event Main hall only (Cedar Star Room)
  • $300.00 Damage deposit
  • $175.00 fee for Bartender. For over 100 people, 3 bartenders are required – to be paid 1 week prior to event.
  • 10% gratuity on final invoice. (Food and Beverages)
  • Corkage of $3.00 per person (does not include shooter glasses/cups)
  • Bartenders do not handle cash – Drink tickets must be purchased at the door
  • Absolutely no raffling of alcohol. All shooters must be served at the bar
  • We strongly recommend that you set up courtesy rides for your guests (taxi, rideshare, bus, etc.)
  • Insurance is required by all renters. Event insurance can be purchased at any insurance broker or online. COPY MUST BE PRESENTED A WEEK BEFORE THE EVENT TAKES PLACE.
  • $15.00 per person includes sandwiches, desserts, relish tray, coffee and tea service
  • $300.00 main hall rental fee

  • $75 Kitchen Fee if you will be bringing in your own food (sorry, no outside caterers permitted)
  • Hall Supervisor Fee $22.00 per hour from 1 hour prior to event start until event ends; option to arrange with Hall Supervisor for earlier entry if required

  • $300 Damage deposit required – if no damages incurred the deposit will be applied to final invoice
  • 10% gratuity on final invoice
