Weddings

We love weddings! Book your pre-wedding day event and your wedding day with Current River Community Centre. Our Community Centre seats up to 200 guests with dance floor.

ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE IN CASH OR CHEQUE ONLY.   THANKS

 Wedding Reception Rates:

  • $150.00 hall rental fee for fewer than 100 guests. For over 100 guests the rental fee is waived
  • $125 fee per bartender. For over 120 guests 2 bartenders are required
  • Corkage of $1.50 per person
  • 100% of all banquet fees must be paid 2 weeks prior to event
  • $300 Damage deposit required – if no damages occurred the deposit will be used towards catering costs

When booking your Wedding and Shag  – we’ll waive the hall rental fee for a shower.

Engagement Parties / Shags Rates:

  • Hall rental fee (full day) $350.00 – to be paid 1 week prior to event
  • $300.00 Damage deposit
  • $125.00 fee for Bartender. For over 100 people, 3 bartenders are required  - to be paid 1 week prior to event.
  • 7% gratuity on final invoice.
  • Corkage of $1.50 per person (does not include shooter glasses/cups)
  • Bartenders do not handle cash – Drink tickets must be purchased at the door
  • Absolutely no raffling of alcohol. All shooters must be served at the bar
  • We strongly recommend that you set up courtesy rides for your guests (taxi’s, hagi bus, school bus, etc)
  • Insurance if required by all renters. Insurance can be purchased at any insurance broker.

Showers, Banquets & Funerals

We offer 2 rooms for rental for any occasion:

  • Cedar Star Room
  • Meeting Room up to 40 people

We provide full catering services for luncheons, teas, showers, etc. As well as offer daytime and evening space open for classes, programs and meetings.

Non-catered Hall Rental Rates:

  • $150.00 hall rental fee (up to 4 hours)
  • $52.00 for hall supervisor ($15 per hour) Paid from time they arrive to time they are finished
  • HST on everything
  • Additional fees apply for dishes and dishwasher usage of $50.00 Kitchen fee

Fully Catered Events Rental Rates:

  • Rental fee of the hall is waived for over 100 guests
  • $150.00 rental fee for the hall for less than 100 guest
  • $125 fee per bartender. For over 100 guests 2 bartenders are required
  • Corkage of $1.50 per person
  • 100% of all banquet fees must be paid 2 weeks prior to event
  • $300 Damage deposit required – if no damages occurred the deposit will be used towards catering costs.
  • Liabity Insurance must be purchased.  Can be purchased at your own insurance company or with the City call Angela @ 625-3385

Funerals Celebration of Life:

  • $9.50 per person includes sandwiches, desserts,Relish Tray,  coffee and tea service
  • Hall Rental $150.00
  • Tableclothes $2.00 each all white

Policy

 

Any events the renter must purchase additional insurance for that event. Event Insurance can be purchased at your insurance company or Call Angela at the City 625-3385.
